  We live in Versailles and have not gone out for breakfast in nearly 8 months so I was excited to go enjoy some eggs and bacon that I didn't cook myself. I had been to this brasserie in the past for a cafe and croque. So I thought I would try again, as it was okay before. This time I came for Petit Dejuner with my fiancé. We each ordered the "Petit-Dejuner Americain." Your choice of hot beverage, choice of juice, choice of breakfast bread, and 2 eggs and bacon. All for 8.60 euro, we thought, "wow, great deal!"
  My cafe creme and his chocolate arrived, no problem so far. Then my croissant and each of our orange juices (spoiler alert: the orange juice was the ONLY thing I enjoyed at this restaurant.) Then arrived HIS eggs and bacon, along with one place setting, and one water glass. Then I was handed the bill. Now, this was a little confusing, obviously. We had ordered the same meal, I could see that we were charged for the same meal right there on the bill that sat in place of my eggs. I waited a minute then another and another, thinking my eggs would arrive. I told my fiancé to go ahead and start eating so his eggs After about ten minutes I was FINALLY able to get the waitresses attention. She came over and I asked if I could have my eggs. She looked surprised and said "ok." About 2 minutes later my eggs and bacon arrive... COLD. But no silverware. Unbelievable. She saw me get up and ran over with the silverware. But handed them to me as if it was some major inconvenience. This place is S&!+!!!!!! But lucky for me I was able to get rid of MANY MANY one and two coins there...
